Hi, folks. Just introducing myself, as I find myself spending a lot of
time in Nashville of late. Some of you may recognize my name since I have
been on BirdChat (and the associated AZ-NM BirdWG05) for 15+ years, though
rarely commenting of late.

I'm staying on the south side of the city, so will probably try and get up
to nearby Radnor Lake some mornings. I have limited experience with
spring migration east of the Mississippi, and a fair number of lifers to
be had - especially amongst the warblers. Plus a lot of other birds I've
only seen once or twice. So, if we cross paths, I'll be really happy for
guidance and companionship. (The tie that brings me here is someone with
extremely limited mobility, so I'm pretty much on my own for birding.) My
familiar home birds are way different: Lewis's WP, MacGillivray's
Warbler, Dippers, Rosy Finches, Clark's Nutcrackers, Blue Grouse and other
mountain/high plains avifauna. Whole different world from the forested
east.

I've long thought of myself as an intermediate birder. Don't do it enough
to be really good; don't seem to have a great knack for songs - though I
can call Pinyon Jays no problem. But I've done a fair amount of birding,
even some overseas. North American area life list is a tad over 500, so I
can't really claim to be a novice.

Thanks in advance for the friendly help that birders everywhere seem happy
to share.
