We were able to have our fall count on Sept. 26 this year, complete with social
distancing. We had foggy dark weather during the first part, but it didn’t stop
us from seeing some great birds. Highlights of the count included 4 red-headed
woodpeckers in Cheatham County, a peregrine falcon in the East Harpeth area,
and 3 red-breasted nuthatches at Old Hickory. The full count is as follows
