I took my folks down to see the Nashville Martin roost tonight (see previous email for details on exact location). We arrived at 7:55pm, which was probably 10-15 min too late, as birds were already in the roost (probably because it was very cloudy and they tend to roost earlier on cloudy evenings). Anyway, there were easily 80,000 birds going to roost in the 30 min we were there. Very impressive sight as always. Good birding!
