If you are in the Nashville area this Thursday, September 20th, please join
the Nashville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society for our
monthly meeting. We will gather at 7:00 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:15
p.m. at the Radnor Lake State Park visitor's center, 1160 Otter Creek Road,
Nashville.
This month's program is Sharing and Caring for Tennessee’s Wildlife.
Education Director Carolyn Pendarvis will discuss Tennessee Wildlife
habitat, feeding, and injury care. As part of the visit, they will be
bringing some live education ambassadors. While her primary focus will be
on birds of prey, she will also be bringing some of native ambassadors
commonly found in our woods and gardens.
Walden's Puddle relies heavily on donations and are in need of UNSALTED
nuts (shelled or unshelled). If possible, please bring a bag or two to the
meeting to help our friends (and wildlife) at Walden's Puddle.
