Wednesday 06 October, 2010
Thirteen birders participated in today's regularly scheduled
NTOS-sponsored Wednesday morning walk
at Radnor Lake. Highlights included the MARSH WREN that Frank Fekel
mentioned in his post, OVENBIRD,
seen walking on the ground near the Long Bridge, both RUBY-CROWNED
and GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS,
and a PHILADELPHIA VIREO. YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS were very numerous,
indicating that
Fall migration is indeed progressing.
