If you are in the Nashville area this Thursday, January 19, please come to
the NTOS monthly meeting and program at the Radnor Lake State Natural area
visitor's center, 1160 Otter Creek Rd., Nashville. This will be our first
meeting at Radnor since August.
Our program this month is *Birds and Culture of Romania and Hungary by Jan
Shaw*
Jan will present her program starting with the magnificent Danube Delta by
houseboat and the Black Sea, and then head west through the rich Carpathian
Mountains (including Dracula's Castle), many steep gorges holding
Wallcreeper and White-throated Dipper, picturesque 12th century villages
and ruins, and on into Hungary with its famous Hortobagy and Kiskunsag
National Parks full of grasslands and wetlands.
