If you are in the Nashville area this Thursday, December 21, please join the
Nashville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society at the Radnor Lake
State Park visitor's center, 1160 Otter Creek Rd, Nashville for our monthly
meeting and program.
We will be gathering at 6:30 p.m. on this special holiday gathering and the
meeting will begin at 7:15 pm. Bring your favorite holiday cookies and finger
foods to share with the group during social time prior to the meeting.
Beverages and all other supplies will be provided by NTOS.
This month's program is Earthwatch: Penguins in Patagonia by Melinda Welton.
Melinda just returned from Patagonia where she participated in in an exciting
Earthwatch project. She will show us her photos and videos of penguins and
other birds that are part of a very large research effort concerning ways to
mitigate climate change. If you love penguins (and who doesn't?) you won't want
to miss this program!
Public always welcomed.
