Good Monday Morning
A few important reminders on this fine Monday morning
The deadline for registering for the new Wings of Winter Birding Festival to
be held on January 19-21, 2018 in and around the Paris Landing area is 11
days away-December 15th. Please visit
http://paristnchamber.com/wingsofwinter/ for information and to register for
this event. Please remember it will serve as the de facto TOS Winter
Meeting since TOS is a sponsor of this event.
In addition if you live in the Nashville area or will be visiting on
Saturday, December 16th the Nashville Chapter of TOS will be holding the
first of TWO Christmas Bird Count. Marion Pratt is coordinating the count
and you can contact her at - marion.pratt@xxxxxxxx to volunteer. Due to
schedule conflicts we are in search of a route leader for Radnor Lake. It¹s
just like being a Wednesday morning walk leaderyou are the point of
contact, set the meeting place and time, and submit the data via computer at
the end of the day. Easy, peasy but oh so very important! So whether
your¹a regular at Radnor or have always wanted to bird Radnor this is your
chance. Contact Marion ASAP if you¹re interested in helping NTOS.
Our second count is set for Monday, January 1st. This is the Shelby Bottoms
and Lake Count (Hickory and Percy Priest). Tarcila Fox is coordinating that
countplease contact her- tarcila@xxxxxxxxxxxxx to volunteer to help that
As always thanks for your volunteer spirits and if you have any additional
questions about anything I¹ve mentioned here please don¹t hesitate to give
me a holler.
Happy winter birding!
