Well one thing I have figured out about radar birding. When the radar shows a lot of nocturnal migrants at midnight, that only means the birds are on the move. It has no bearing on where those birds will set down! A heavy flight includes individuals that are leaving as well as ones that might be potentially arriving!
Anyway, this morning at our place in western Lewis County there was definitely some change in migrants, but not a really big influx. The most notable was an adult female Mourning Warbler who came in quite close in response to tooting, squeaking, and spishing. Much easier to pick out than the usual yellowthroat-imitating fall juveniles! Also the season's first Swainson's Thrushes; for some reason this place is never a really big magnet for the transient brown thrushes. And the season's first Blue-winged Teal (4 of them) on the pond.
