Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit A pair of Scissor-Tailed Flycatchers appeared at 3539 Lytle Creek Road, south of Murfreesboro. Observed at lunch-time on May 18 and at 7:30 a.m. on May 19. Birds were feeding and perching on wires in front of this address and north to the intersection [ N: 35.785 W: 86.315 ] From Murfreesboro: S on Highway 41; left on Dilton-Mankin Road and go approx. 2.5 miles. Where Dilton-Mankin turns left, bear right onto Wilson Overall Road (if anyone knows the origin of this name, I'd be pleased to learn it). In about 3/4 mile, turn right onto Lytle Creek Road. Birds might be seen on either side of road in the next quarter-mile. Lots of summer birds in this area if you continue on the side roads.
