Good Evening Tn-birders
The Ash-throated Flycatcher continues to be seen in Clarksville. It was
last seen today by a group of NTOS birders at 3 pm today after seeing the
Common Redpoll at the home of Rick Shipkowski. That makes a total of 85
known visitors since January 2nd when Debbie and Steve Hamilton first found
the bird! Since then the bird¹s habits have changed a bit. It now tends to
hang closer to the ground and likes to use the tall grasses as a perch for
resting as well as a place to get a good view of the stinkbugs it¹s been
hunting and enjoying. Be sure to check out the fields as well as the wooded
tree lines when looking for the bird.
