Birders, Marilyn Burgess and I saw an interesting sight high in the sky over Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson County on Friday, 9/14: a kettle of 18 Broad-winged Hawks moving steadily in a SE direction. Easy to ID in the low late afternoon sun.
