Two Mississippi Kites flew around our pond for an hour or more this afternoon. They were swooping down to the surface to catch insects I assume as the pond is solid covered with Duckweed. Got several photos, but had only a 300mm lens on my Nikon. The kites flew away, probably to one of the several other ponds in this area.
