Therefore I am sending again. For the last two days, late in the evening, I have noticed several Pine Warblers running on some fairways of zoysia grass at The Honors Course. They are eating some tiny insect. They may run 20 feet to get something when they see it or fly whenever they spot something at a greater distance. They let me drive to within about 30 feet of them before flying off a few feet to resume their hunting. I have (and still see) Eastern Bluebirds do the same thing in the summer for years. It is the first time I have noticed the Pine Warblers doing it. I guess I should try to see what it is they are eating but what ever the insect is has never done any damage nor have we ever treated for it.
