Tennessee has a new member of the three hundred Tennessee bird club. Dr Bob
Collier from Knoxville got number 300 this morning, a Western Kingbird on
President‘s island in Memphis. This followed a successful 3 days west
Tennessee run where he also picked up a Bell’s Vireo and Anhinga in Dyer County
and a Lark Sparrow in Mark Greene’s yard in Gibson. Bill Keeler from Knoxville
finished the trip getting the same state lifers but also picked up a Painted
Bunting at the Pitts with the help of Dick Preston. Bill is now only 3 birds
shy of the 300 mark.
Congrats Bob and Bill and keep those Tennessee ticks coming.
