The Migratory Bird Protection Act (H.R. 5552) has been passed out of the
Natural Resources Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, by a 20 to 14
vote. This proposed legislation would restore enforcement powers critical for
protecting native birds, which were previously stripped out by administrative
fiat. As the bill moves forward to the floor for consideration by the full
House, it is essential that your representative hears from you. Please consider
contacting him and make your opinion known.
