Sat., Oct. 17 - Field trip to the boardwalk at Collierville's W.C. Johnson
Park, led by Rob Harbin and Hal Mitchell. Meet at the boardwalk trailhead
by the parking lot at 7:30 a.m.

Sat., Oct. 17 - 18 mile Mississippi River canoe trip from the Chickasaw
Bluffs at Shelby Forest to Mud Island in Memphis, with Quapaw Canoe
Company. 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Registration and fee required by Oct. 14 to john

Wed., Oct. 21 - Chapter meeting at 7 p.m., St. George's Episcopal Church,
2425 S. Germantown Rd., Germantown, TN. David Hanni, TWRA Bird Conservation
Coordinator, will speak on Introduction & Thoughts on Future Bird
Conservation in Tennessee. Refreshments served.

Sat., Oct. 24 - Field Trip to Wapanocca National Wildlife Refuge in
Turrell, AR. Meet at the refuge visitor center at 7:30 a.m. Birding from
car with some easy walking. Bring lunch if you wish. Gaynell Perry and
Martha Waldron are our guides.
