At 11 AM, I was driving east on Walnut Grove Road through Shelby Farms just past the Farm Road stoplight and spotted a large bird sitting on top of one of the trees south of Patriot Lake. I turn off at the fish ponds and drove back on the closed road. It was the Goshawk. Unfortunately it was gone when I drove by the area again a few minutes later. All I can note is that the bird still around, just erratic. It appears to stay in that general area and is worth looking for on such a beautiful day.
