I haven't had a chance to do a lot of birding here recently and I caught myself trying very hard to practice my I.D. skills on a Harris's Hawk. The Memphis Zoo lost "Pheonix" a beautiful Harris's Hawk Thursday afternoon so keep your eyes out for it if you're in the area. It should be pretty easy toI.D. however considering it has a large leather strap hanging from it's leg. I still wouldn't mind seeing it soar through the air. _____________________________ Anthony D.
