I was at the McMinn County Bowater ponds about 4 P.M. I also saw the three
Snowy Egrets and the immature Little Blue Heron. Additionally, one Green Heron
and one Great Egret were noted - all at the pond on the north side of the
highway. At the smaller pond on the south side of the highway, a Belted
Kingfisher, a Wood Duck, and two Red-headed Woodpeckers were noted. I saw one
or more shorebirds at each pond, but I'm not very good at identifying
shorebirds.

A quick visit to the Bowater ponds in McMinn County about noon on Sunday. The
new species for today was three Snowy Egrets. A lone immature Little Blue was
also present.
