Here in Nashville the fight to stop the May Town Center Development from going 
ahead in Bells' Bend is continuing.
 
The next metro planning commission meetig is June 25 - please see 
www.bellsbend.org for details. You can also donate to the effort through the 
web site (to pay for legal fees, the studies they have done etc.)
 
It would be especially helpful if anyone from out of town could contact the 
planning comission (easy to do via email, see website above for details) so 
that they will understand it is not just nashville area that will be affected.
 
Also, longtime NTOS member Dee Thompson asked me to let people know that her 
neighborhood, Charlotte Park, is having their own community meeting tonight as 
they would be impacted by proposed bridges.   Info is at

Finally, it turns out that one of the proposed routes for a road to a bridge 
goes THROUGH Bells Bend Park.  If you would like to see the map email me off
