MartinFest 2006 Event Information

Location: The Victor Stoll Farm, 494 Sweet Lips Road, Finger, TN  38334.  F=
inger is located in McNairy County in West Tennessee about 20 miles south o=
f Jackson just east of US Hwy. 45.

Date & Time: June 16 - 17, 2006. "Doors" open both days at 7:00 a.m. Parkin=
g is available. You will need to register at the reception area. Pre-regist=
ration is not available.

Cost:
Both Days - total of $10.00 per person.=20
Friday only (Vendor's Day) - $5.00 per person=20
Saturday only - $10.00 per person=20
There is no charge for children under the age of 12.=20
If you decide to attend again on Saturday an additional $5.00 will be colle=
cted with proof of entrance fee paid on Friday for a total cost of $10.00 p=
er person for the total weekend event.)=20
Saturday admittance fees include coffee, homemade breakfast buns, barbecue =
lunch, home made ice cream and pies served on MartinFest Saturday. Food wil=
l not be provided on Friday's Vendor's Day, but will be available for purch=
ase.

MartinFest is a gathering of martin enthusiasts from all over the country h=
eld annually in Finger, TN, at one of the world's largest Purple Martin col=
onies. The MartinFest 2006 committee is very pleased to extend a warm invit=
ation and share this information with those Purple Martin enthusiasts that =
wish to attend this year's MartinFest event. This will be the ninth annual =
MartinFest, and everyone is anticipating yet another wonderful gathering of=
 Purple Martin landlords and enthusiasts at Victor Stoll=E2=80=99s home and=
 colony site.

Vendor's Day - Friday, June 16, 2006:

This is the fourth year that MartinFest is scheduled as a two-day event. Ve=
ndor's Day 2003 - 2005 were successful additions to the traditional MartinF=
est Saturday. We are pleased to host organizations, manufacturers and distr=
ibutors that have supported this event and are once again happy to welcome =
them and our guests to Vendor's Day 2006.

You will have an opportunity to meet directly with manufacturers, distribut=
ors, and representatives from Purple Martin organizations. Products and inf=
ormation will be available for inspection and purchase. Only vendors that r=
egister will be permitted to sell items.

MartinFest 2006 - Saturday, June 17th, 2006:

We are extremely pleased to announce that Thurman Seber from Liberty, TN ha=
s graciously accepted our invitation to be our guest speaker this year. Thu=
rman is an experienced landlord, manages a sizable colony, and has helped m=
any others in his area and via the Internet, start colonies of their own. W=
e are looking very forward to hearing Thurman's presentation and are sure e=
veryone will enjoy his information, shared experiences and sense of humor.

Saturday's events begin with registration at the reception area, receipt of=
 door prize tickets and an invitation to join the other guests for coffee a=
nd homemade sweet rolls.

Schedule of Events:

Approximate times are provided.
07:00 a.m. - registration begins - morning coffee and sweet rolls will be o=
ffered=20
10:00 a.m. - MartinFest 2006 Program begins=20
10:30 a.m. - Guest speaker presentation=20
11:00 - 11:30 -Victor Stoll welcomes crowd and blesses lunch=20
11:30 a.m. - Lunch begins immediately following the program.=20
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Door prize drawings with raffle announcement immedi=
ately following. At conclusion of raffle official festivities end and guest=
s are welcomed to stay the remainder of the day to visit and enjoy the mart=
ins.=20
The Stoll family would like to invite and encourage Vendor's Day and Martin=
Fest guests to remain at the farm for some "After the Fest" conversation, f=
ellowship, and to join them for the traditional "watching the birds come in=
.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The event and viewing tents are wheelchair accessible. Please advise if you=
 need any special consideration.

You are welcome to bring your pets, but please keep them on a leash, and pe=
rhaps bring a bag or two for their waste. You are welcome to bring your pet=
s, but please keep them on a leash, and perhaps bring a baggie or two for t=
heir waste.

MartinFest is an alcohol-free, profanity-free event.

If you are driving and have some extra room in your vehicle you might want =
to consider bringing some additional items. Tents and chairs will be provid=
ed, but having a few extra is always nice.

comfortable shoes=20
bathing suit if your motel/hotel has a pool=20

If you would like to donate a door prize, please be sure to bring it with y=
ou. Your donated door prize will be registered and collected at the admissi=
on station on Saturday morning. Your generosity is much appreciated.

Larger donations will be raffled as to generate MartinFest funds. This is a=
 non-profit event, and all money collected pays for the equipment, food and=
 start-up event planning for the following year.
