Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.

I ran into Al and Sandy Kolak from Knoxville this afternoon at Radnor Lake
searching for their life Surf Scoter. We spotted it immediately farther out on
the lake than it has been the last 2 days. It was keeping company with a
Ruddy Duck and doing a lot of diving. Viewing was better from along the road.

We also saw the MacGillivray's Warbler along the fence line and down by the
water in front of the ranger's house between 3:00-4:30. Sandy also spotted a
Common Nighthawk gracefully flying low over the water.

other birds:
American Black Duck
American Wigeon
Gadwall
Barred Owl
Golden-crowned Kinglet
