[TN-Bird] MS River Travel

A couple of hours watching the River produced the following: 93 Ring-billed 
 Gulls floating downstream or lounging on the sandbars, 2 Herring Gulls, 1  
FRANKLIN'S GULL and 1 Bonaparte's in the mix, a lone Blue Goose looking 
lost in  the middle of the channel dodging barge traffic, 5 Ruddy Ducks, 8 
Green-winged  Teal, 32 Shoveler Ducks, 5 Gadwall, 2 Lesser Scaup, a single Coot 
looking for  the rest of its gang, and FINALLY 2 WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS, that 
would float down  the river to the bridge but then would fly back up steam. 
A lot of birds just do  not like to float under the bridge and gulls flying 
along just off the water  lift to go over the bridge.
 
Raptors were non-existent except for an adult Bald Eagle that sat in a tree 
 the whole time watching, and watching, and watching..................
