Nov. 14, 2005
Mud island
Shelby Co. TN

I took lunch on the river today and found the adult Peregrine Falcon sitting
on the same perch as Saturday. I also had 3 Common Loons floating down the
river, getting up and flying north only to land, float and when they got to
the same area fly back north. A small group of coots plus 3 first of season
Red-breasted Mergansers, 6 Ruddy Ducks, 4 Gadwall, 5 Lesser Scaup, 1 Horned
Grebe and 5 Ring-billed Gulls finished off the migration list.
Good Birding !!!
