Nov. 17, 2011 Mississippi River Shelby Co. TN Lots of pods resting behind the dikes along Loosahatchie Bar plus a pair of adult Peregrines bathing off of Dacus Bar. The big difference in size indicated a male and female and they bathed just a few feet apart, unusual this time of the year to be that tolerant. Quite a few species of waterfowl, 13, with single Red-breasted Merganser and a juvenile LONG-TAILED DUCK. Over 220 Bufflehead and 14 Horned Grebe. Jeff R. Wilson / TLBA 6300 Memphis-Arlington Rd.
