Bell's Bend sod farms
Davidson Co

Frank Fekel and I birded the sod farms in the Bell's Bend area this morning,
and the birds did not disappoint us. At least 125 Horned Larks, 15 American
Pipits,
and 3 Lapland Longspurs were found, along with 2 Sandhill Cranes flying over.
The Longspurs were staying with the Horned Larks, and were moving around the
large
sod farm on the right side of the road almost at the dead end of Old Hickory
Blvd.
