No murrelets on the official state list so point is moot according to the original rules of the game. However, there was a Long-billed Murrelet reported from Reelfoot Lake in the 1990s that has never been submitted to the TBRC. This is a species with many, widely scattered reports across NAm and could show up anywhere, including TN. Ancient Murrelet is another species that should not be overlooked as a potential vagrant to TN... but that is a different game for another rainy day.
