Campbell County, TN Royal Blue WMA near Caryville Early this morning (Tues 9-3-02) I short drive up Old Highway 63 near Caryville produced my first real flock/flurry of migrants mixed with locals chasing them. Very nice! In one area in 30 min. I saw and counted: ( 9:30 - 10:00 am) 1 TENNESSEE WARBLER 1 MAGNOLIA WARBLER 1 BLUE-WINGED WARBLER Chestnut-Sided Warbler (6) sporting fall plumage 2 Black-Throated Green Warbler 3 Commom Yellowthroat Warbler 2 Hooded Warbler 1 Scarlet Tanager F Numerous Cardinals, Carolina Wren, Chickadee and Titmouse chasing the intruders. **A LEAST FLYCATCHER WAS SEEN well for several minutes in excellent lighting. Interestingly, this same spot is where I found Least Flycatcher in Spring a couple years ago in the Cumberlands. In the yard this a.m. in Jacksbor, TN were a Cerulean, Hooded and Black Th. Green Warbler interested in my sprinkler and water pool Nell Moore jimimoore@xxxxxxxx Caryville, TN CampbellCounty, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Topographical Maps located at http://topozone.com/find.asp * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Tennessee Ornithological Society web site at http://www.tnbirds.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net Owner: Wallace Coffey, Bristol, TN jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx (423) 764-3958 =========================================================
