10 Sept 2011 Marshall Cty, TN While out walking on the farm yesterday morning heard a Least bittern calling from the edge of a marshy, grassed drainage area. The bittern was actually hidden in a clump of cedar trees along the edge and I wasn't able to see the bird. Other notables included a Yellow-bellied flycatcher and 9 Northern bobwhites.
