December 6, 2016Gibson County Lake
I made a quick run around Gibson County Lake yesterday afternoon to see if the
Common Merganser was still present. It was not and the only divers I saw were
three Ring-necked Ducks. I saw one Ring-billed Gull flying over the lake but
the best bird was sitting in the south cove - a winter plumaged Laughing Gull.
Also present here was a lingering Great Egret.
