[TN-Bird] Late Monday Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge Update

About 5 p.m., from the Cherokee Removal Memorial Park overlooking Hiwassee
Island in Meigs County, 1 direct autumn release (DAR) juvenile whooping crane
was observed on a mudflat on the southern end of the island. Two white pelicans
were in the same area.
