Steve Zipperer and I spent an interesting if windy day, birding from Pace
Point to Paris Landing.
Pace Point: 30 RB Gulls, 1 Franklin's Gull, 4 A Avocets!
Weedy fields below Bennett's Overlook: many Marsh Wrens, several Sedge Wrens,
2 Dickcissels, 2 Bobolinks. Swamp Sparrows arriving now in numbers.
Britton Ford: 8 A Pipits, point blank views of the new visitor's center from
the outside (closed on Sundays, 8-4 other days).
Eagle Creek: Caspian and Forster's Terns.
Gull Island at Paris Landing: 1 adult and 1 young LBB Gull.
