I spent most of the day around Ky Lake today. The water levels are continuing to fall, lowest ever??? I had good luck with sparrows - missed Le Conte's and Fox, but had Lincoln's, Vesper, Swamp, Song, Field, Chipping, White-crowned and White-throated and Savannah, as well as Junco and Towhee. Shorebirds included Lesser Yellowlegs and W Snipe at Lick Creek, Least Sandpipers at Britton Ford, but no Dunlin. I relocated the adult Lesser Black-backed Gull at the end of Eagle's Nest Road past the marina. It was on a small island roost with about 30 RB Gulls, and 6 Great Egrets. Lots of dabbling ducks around but I didn't see anything uncommon. Hope to give it another go in 2 weeks Terry Witt Murfreesboro Tn =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation.
