I was heading in that direction after work yesterday anyway, so despite not having binocs with me, I decided to swing by the ponds and lakes on Sherrill Blvd Tues evening to look for the egrets Mark reported. Lots of other birds around making me wish I did have binocs. Waters Edge - no egrets but several Hooded Mergansers and other ducks hiding in the trees Scripps Networks HQ - one Great Egret in the pond out front Dead Horse Lake Golf Course (from parking area) - lots of swallows, Gadwalls and other ducks, yellowlegs sp (not going to call it without binocs) Dean Edwards Knoxville, TN On Tue, 26 Mar 2013, Mark Campen wrote: > Just had a report of two white egrets at Waters Edge Business Park off > Sherrill Blvrd in west Knoxville.
