Jay Sturner called me late this afternoon reporting a probable Franklin's Gull
at the Concord Boat Ramp in west Knox County.  When I arrived I spotted a
Lesser Black-backed Gull in with several hundred Ring-billed and Bonaparte's
Gulls (plus 4 Herring Gulls). Jay had left to try to get a look from another
location. He arrived back shortly with Beth Schilling and the three of us were
able to relocate the Franklin's Gull and watch it for at least 20 minutes.
