During the Knox Co. Spring Bird Count, we found 2 or 3 Brown-headed
Nuthatches at Webb School off Mabry-Hood Road. They were on an old lopped
off mostly dead pine tree about 10 feet inside the Dead Horse Lake Golf
Course. The tree is midway of the school parking lot that has Lot F and
Lot E signs at opposite ends. You can view the tree from the parking lot.
This was a first for the location for us.
