The Greene County reference for Kirtland's Warbler is to a bird observed on
September 28, 1956 by Elva Darnell. The sight record was accepted for
publication in The Migrant (27:53).

The 1 Oct 1989 Washington Co report and another from Hamilton Co on
8 Oct 1989 were not accepted by the TBRC due to insufficient details
to eliminate other possibilities. The vote was 1-2 for both reports.
This information is listed in the 1993 TBRC report available on the
aforementioned TBRC website. I seem to recall another report from
Greene Co but can't find a reference for it at the moment.
