I have let the deadline for the KY Hunt proposal public comment slip up on me in the aftermath of world news. But I sent it today. So I'm reminding everyone to take the time tonight or early tomorrow to send a letter to the Kentucky Wildlife Resources Commission regarding Kentucky's proposed sandhill crane hunt. The deadline for public comment is tomorrow, March 15th. Althought we live in Tennessee, we have lost what we gained if the eastern population of sandhill cranes is hunted by our neighbors in Kentucky. It is the same population, the same concerns. Pull out your TN letters, make a few changes, and send them to Kentucky. Act now! You will find my letter on my blog: _http://vickiehenderson.blogspot.com/2011/03/kentucky-sandhill-crane-hunt-pr oposal.html_ (http://vickiehenderson.blogspot.com/2011/03/kentucky-sandhill-crane-hunt-proposal.html) Vickie Henderson Knoxville, TN South Knox County =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
