Hello All - sharing unpleasant news via news article by James Bruggers in
today's Louisville CJ.

At the federal level, hunters didn't even bother writing USFWS. Quoting from
article: "The agency (USFWS) noted that 337 people from Alaska to
Massachusetts, including Kentucky and Indiana, wrote letters in opposition to
the sandhill crane season. Several petitions containing 3,000 signatures also
objected to the hunt, the agency said. There were no letters that supported the
hunt, King said."

Which goes to show you that the entire system needs redoing. Once upon a time
perhaps it made sense for it to be set up as as it is today. However with more
and more species becoming endangered and disappearing forever, hunting
declining at a record pace and wildlife watching and conservation increasing IT
IS TIME FOR CHANGE!!
