[TN-Bird] Juncos

I saw my first Dark-Eyed Junco of the season in my yard yesterday. I don't
usually see one until the middle of December. Has anyone else had them in
their yard this early? I am glad to see them and also the return of the
White-Throated Sparrows. I miss these little guys when they head northward in
late
Spring.

Thanks again to Dan Mooney, who came today in the pouring rain to pick up
the Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker which had flown into my window killing it on
Saturday. It will be used in classes at UT. At least, something good came out
of
this tragedy.
