Dan Mooney and TN-Birders: Juncos nest in unusual places and sometimes several feet above the ground. According to "A Guide to the Nests, Eggs and Nestlings of North American Birds" by Paul Baicich and Colin Harrison, juncos nest "Exceptionally in low shrubs or on conifer branches, in tree cavities or on raised sites on ledges and niches of building, to 8ft., rarely higher." It would seem to me, given those posibilities, that a bird nest box would not be out of the question. Let's go briding.....
