I regret to inform the TOS community that our friend and colleague Jack
Freeman passed away yesterday morning. He was an enthusiastic birder =
and a
long time member of TOS. Deeply devoted to the Biology Department of The
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Jack served in many roles - =
teacher,
committee person, and department head. He will be remembered for his =
wit,
wisdom, humor and the gentlemanly manner with which he treated everyone. =
 He
will be sorely missed by his family and those of us who were blessed =
with
the good fortune to know him.

Chattanooga, TN
