The Obed Wild and Scenic River (a unit of the National Park Service), will host an International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) bird walk on Saturday, May 11, 2002 at the Lilly Bridge area at 8:30 a.m (Eastern Time). The event, an officially registered component of IMBD, will be led by David Trently of the Tennessee Ornithological Society. We will look and listen for spring migrants at Lilly Bridge, Lilly Bluff Overlook, and along a portion of the Point Trial. The event is free to the public, and will last about two hours. Participants should meet at Lilly Bridge in the Obed WSR at 8:30 a.m. on the event date. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
