Yesterday, birds of note in my woods at Normandy were:

* Flock of Goldfinches
* Chickadee
* Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
* Pileated Woodpecker

Bedford Lake

* 6 Snipe feeding at the shore's edge
* Female Goldeneye
* Ring-necked Ducks ~10
* Bufflehead 20+
* Canada Geese 60+
* Gadwalls 10
* Ruddy- female (1)

* Juncos (~10)
* yellow-rumped warbler
* cardinal flock (70 to 100)
* killdeer
* hermit thrush
* hooded mergansers (3)


Normandy Lake (pretty sad- no grebes!)

* great blue heron (1)
* hooded mergansers (2)\
