As a side note, this morning when I was refilling the feeders I heard a bird
singing. It sounded so unusual and for a minute I thought of a Tanager. But I
shook my head, and told myself “that can’t be it’s winter”. But I did crane my
neck trying to see who was singing. I dismissed it since it didn’t quite sound
like the male summer tanagers that are in my neighborhood in the summertime.
This is a good lesson to be more open to the unexpected!!
