Meigs County, TN

I took a trip up to Hiwassee on Monday, and just after I passed the sign
that reads "No Trespassing, No Hunters, No Bird Watchers" on road leading to
the viewing area, 6 Northern Bobwhites ran across the road. Hopefully they
will make an appearance on the Hiwassee CBC Saturday. There were also 2
Northern Harriers cruising around the refuge, one of them being a nice adult
male. There were about 2,000 Sandhill Cranes visible from the viewing area,
and there were 2 Whooping Cranes with them.
