Hi Jesse,
This is an adult Red-shouldered Hawk with rufous barring on chest, black tail
w/3 or 4 white bands bands, and black and white checkered flight feathers. In
flight look for crescent shaped wing panels near primaries. Good job on
getting images of front and back and that can sometimes be necessary for ID.
This one was not, but good practice.
