I thought it was a Red-shouldered Hawk. Recently got the iBird Photo Sleuth app
for my iPhone. Ran your photo through the app and it gave a 99% probability
that your bird was indeed a Red-shouldered Hawk. I have so far been fairly
impressed with the app.
