Today was Day 1 of 9 straight pelagic trips for me out of Hatteras with Brian Patteson (http://www.seabirding.com). It was a fantastic day, and I've posted some highlight pictures at my SmugMug page (http://csloan.smugmug.com). My goal for these trips was to find my second Bermuda Petrel and to get a good photograph. Done and done. Other highlights were a dark-morph Trindad Petrel, lots and lots of Leach's and Band-rumped Storm-Petrels, and jaegers and skuas galore. All of these were taken with my new 300mm f2.8 lens. To say I am happy with that investment is a gross understatement. ;) I'll post more as the trips progress. regards, Chris Sloan Nashville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
